Guwahati: Amid Eid Al-Fitr celebration in the state, two youths of the same family died and one injured in a road accident in Goalpara district of Assam on Sunday.
The two deceased have been identified as Rahim Badshah and Sahidur Islam while the injured has been identified as Mizanur Rahman.
The incident took place in Dekdhowa area of the district.
As per the sources of the MyNewsNE, they were on their way to Eid shopping towards Goalpara city when their motorcycle bearing the registration number ‘AS 18 AF 4058′ lost control and collided on a tree on the side of the road.
Following the incident, Dubapara Police officials rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.
It needs to mentioned that the victims were immediately rushed to Goalpara Civil Hospital in a critical condition, but later two of them succumbed to their injuries.
Meanwhile, the injured has been shifted to medical care for better treatment.
