Delhi: The militants claimed to be of the Lashkar-e-taiba were killed in an encounter with the security forces in Pulwama district in Kashmir on Wednesday.
As per the security forces, among the killed, one was the commander of the Pakistan-based LeT. The commander was identified as Abu Huraira alias Aijaz while the other two deceased persons are yet to be identified.
The police claimed that following the encounter, objectionable materials were found from the possession of the deceased.
As per reports, the encounter took place as the security forces had specific inputs about the presence of some suspected militants in the area.
