Guwahati: Guwahati police seized drugs from Inter State Bus Terminal(ISBT) in Gorchuk worth Rs 8 Lakhs on Wednesday.
According to reports, the Gorchuk Police were able to seize at least 10 soap packs containing cocaine during an operation in the region.
It has come to light that when the drugs were confiscated in ISBT, the drug dealers were trying to smuggle them from Silchar to Guwahati.
The market value of the seized drugs is suspected to be around Rs. 8 lakhs.
Meanwhile, three drug dealers have been arrested by the police in connection with the seizure.
The arrestees have been identified as Amir Ali, Firoz Ali and Habibur Rahman.
