The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) officially said that the Monuments to reopen from June 16 2021. Visitors will be able to book entry tickets online as no offline facility will be available.
Union culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel said that The Taj Mahal and other centrally protected monuments which were closed two months ago for the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic will reopen on 16th of June.
According to the order of ASI the opening of the monuments will be strict compliance with the executive orders. As it is approved to duly open all the monuments of India from June 16 2021. Tourists can visit the monuments by following Covid rules, including social distancing.
On the other hand tourists would not be allowed to touch any object inside the monuments and sites.
