Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Tripura on March 8.
While addressing to media, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb informed that Shah will attend the Bhumi Pujan event of the new Forensic Science University coming up in Tripura.
Shah’s visit is vital this time because of the state’s current political environment and it will be crucial in strategizing the BJP’s future strategy as crucial by-elections approach before the 2023 assembly elections.
During his visit, Shah will lay the foundation stone for the Forensic Science University, which will be followed by the Bhumi Pujan ritual.
Shah is also expected to attend a meeting in Tripura to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the BJP-IPFT coalition’s creation.
