The meeting focused on critical topics, including enhanced border security measures and the implementation of the Vibrant Villages Programme to strengthen border area development.

Discussions also touched upon initiatives to promote local produce through strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and the introduction of polyhouse cultivation at Border Outposts, aimed at improving the livelihoods of personnel and local residents. The dialogue underscored the importance of fostering stronger ties between security forces and the local community for holistic regional progress.

Meanwhile, on January 3, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein marked a significant day for Arunachal Pradesh with the inauguration of two landmark projects near the Indo-China border town of Mechukha.
