Guwahati, 16th April: A distressing discovery unfolded in Guwahati city as the lifeless body of a 35-year-old individual was found submerged in a drain in Hasthinapur within Nayanpur, Ganeshguri area on Tuesday.
Local residents alerted the Dispur police station upon stumbling upon the grim scene, prompting swift mobilization by authorities.
Upon arrival, police initiated the delicate process of recovering the deceased from the drain, with the body subsequently transported to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for postmortem examination.
