Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma turned 54 on Wednesday (February 1). The chief minister’s supporters and admirers arrived at his home to wish him a happy birthday.
The Chief Minister received well wishes from all throughout the state and the nation. On his birthday, he received congratulations from his admirers. The chief minister also celebrated his birthday by cutting cake at his government residence at midnight.
Gifts were given as well-wishes from his admirers and supporters.
Additionally, he was seen taking pictures with his followers.
Speaking to reporters, CM Sarma said, “I am blessed to have such a large fan followers and I seek blessings from all on my birthday.”
On the day of his birthday, the chief minister will officially inaugurate a footbridge in Fancy Bazar as a gift to the public.
Additionally, a renowned Guwahati restaurant has created a unique cake for his birthday.
