Guwahati: Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) president KM Mohideen citing the proposed Population Policy in Assam termed Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma as a Dictator in Hitlerian fashion.
Reacting to the much discussed Population Policy that might soon be implemented with full force in Assam, Mohideen criticized the the Assam Chief Minister regarding this policy.
Assam CM had announced that families those who have more than two children mostly Muslims, neither they will get any kind of government job, nor they will get any benefits from the welfare scheme of the government. They will also not be permitted to contest local body elections.
The IUML Chief added that this policy of Assam is not only discriminatory but it is anti-secular and constitutional.
Mohideen said that the CM is ruining the life of the general people. The IUML strongly condemned the Assam CM “discriminatory policy”.
He further insisted the CM to withdraw the policy terming it as anti-national and unconstitutional policy. He added that the policy is also discriminative and destructive.
