Assam CM sets Deadline For Full Implementation of ‘Mission Basundhara’
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has directed all agencies to meet their targets for completing all applications for ‘Mission Basundhara’ before May 10, 2022.
The Assam Chief Minister attended a review meeting with all the responsible officials charged with the implementation of the ‘Mission’ at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati on Saturday evening in order to speed up the pace of Mission Basundhara.
He asked all implementing authorities to view the mission as a holy and honourable one.
So far, the state authorities have disposed of nearly 3.2 lakh of the 8.10 lakh online applications received on the ‘Basundhara’ platform, he stated.

“The state government would start Mission Basundhara-2 after Mission Basundhara-1,” Sarma added.
The Chief Minister also established an ‘Integrity Helpline of the Mission’ for filing grievances, which will allow for the swift resolution of a variety of people’s land-related difficulties.
