Assam Government Launches ‘Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan’ to Empower Young Entrepreneurs
Guwahati, 11th June: The Assam government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, has initiated the ‘Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan’ (Self-Reliant Assam Campaign) with the goal of empowering 30,000 young entrepreneurs by September this year.
Under this ambitious campaign, each aspiring entrepreneur will receive an initial funding of Rs 1 lakh to kickstart their ventures, paving the way for them to transform their innovative ideas into successful businesses. This financial assistance is anticipated to spur economic growth and foster self-reliance across the state.
The ‘Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan’ represents a holistic endeavor towards self-reliance, aiming to empower the youth of Assam to become creators of employment opportunities and contribute significantly to the state’s economic progress. Through the provision of essential financial support, the government aims to cultivate a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem, thereby unlocking the full potential of young minds and fostering a culture of innovation and enterprise.
