Assam: Guwahati to Welcome New International Standard Cricket Venue in 18 Months

Guwahati, 20th May: Guwahati is poised to enhance its sporting landscape with the upcoming construction of another International Standard Cricket Venue in the next 18 months, as confirmed by BCCI joint secretary Devajit Lon Saikia. The stadium, situated at Amingaon in North Guwahati, is already undergoing construction, marking a significant step forward for sports enthusiasts in Assam and the Northeast region.

Saikia’s announcement on Facebook has sparked excitement among cricket enthusiasts, as the new venue promises to host top-tier cricket events and matches. With a commitment to meeting international standards, the stadium aims to offer a modern facility for both players and spectators.
