Assam Police Makes Major Drug Bust, Seizes 8.5 kg of Suspected Ganja in Chirang District

IGuwahati, 20th May: n a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Assam Police apprehended a 40-year-old man, Bimal Ch Sarkar, from No. 1 Battery Village in Chirang district. The arrest followed a targeted operation in the area, leading to the discovery and seizure of 8.5 kg of suspected ganja.

The successful operation is part of ongoing efforts by Chirang Police to combat drug-related activities in the district.
