Assam HS Board Exams 2022-23 Commences Today, Check For Guidelines

Guwahati: Assam HS Board Exams 2022–2023 began on Monday and will end on March 20, 2023.

856 centres throughout the state will host the exam.

The English subject paper for the Higher Secondary Class 12th exam will be administered on Monday, while the final papers for Home Science and Enterprise Development are set on March 20, 2023.

Students who had registered for the Class 12 board examination had already received their Assam Class 12 admit cards from the Assam Higher Secondary Education Board (AHSEC).

According to the guidelines, students must show up for the board exam wearing their school uniforms and bringing their admit card and school identity card.

The HS 2023 test for the arts, commerce, science, and vocational streams will be administered by the AHSEC in two shifts.

The first shift will take place between 9 and 11 in the morning, while the second shift will happen between 1:30 and 3:30 in the afternoon.

3,42,869 students in total are taking the examinations this year compared to 2,05,625 in 2022.

Previously, the AHSEC-organized practical exam ran from January 25 through February 15.

It should be noted that the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council’s (AHSEC) Higher Secondary is being conducted with extreme caution.

The state board states that applicants will receive their question papers 15 minutes prior to the exam’s scheduled start time.

A cyber cell has been established to investigate any exam-related acts in order to prevent paper leaking.

In case if anyone attempts to circulate any fake question papers before the exam will be caught by police and cyber cell.

Furthermore, police will be stationed on site and each testing site will have double security to prevent any suspicious behaviour on the part of any applicant or person.

Here are the guidelines by the AHSEC for HS Class 12 exams

Students are required to bring their Assam class 12 admit card and their school ID at the examination centre.

Examinees are required to arrive at the testing location 30 minutes prior to the start of the exam.

Five extra minutes will be given to the students so they can peruse the question paper.

Students are only permitted to bring approved stationary items inside the test hall or room.

Calculators, cell phones, tablets, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam site.

No candidates will be permitted to leave the exam room before it is finished.
