Assam: JP Nadda Leads Vijay Sankalp Yatra Rally in Kokrajhar
Guwahati, 18th April: JP Nadda, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president, spearheaded an election rally as part of the Vijay Sankalp Yatra, in Assam’s Kokrajhar.
Nadda took a swipe at the Congress, accusing them of igniting conflicts in Kokrajhar and turning it into the land of strikes in India.
Reflecting on the contrast between past neglect and present progress, Nadda remarked on Congress’s principle of keeping the people in loneliness and ignorance, contrasting it with the NDA government’s initiatives to connect the region to the mainstream under PM Modi’s leadership.
Nadda highlighted PM Modi’s frequent visits to the Northeast, emphasizing his commitment to the region’s development. He outlined PM Modi’s vision for the Northeast, focusing on aspects like peace, hydropower generation, tourism, 5G connectivity, culture, natural farming, sports, and nurturing
Nadda lauded PM Modi’s efforts to integrate Bodoland into the national mainstream, citing initiatives like the Bodoland peace process as examples of this inclusive approach.
He mentioned the significant reduction in the area under the Armed Forces (Special Power) Act, signaling a move towards peace and prosperity in Bodoland.
Nadda highlighted the improved connectivity to Delhi, once a distant dream for many in Assam, now made accessible through enhanced infrastructure and connectivity measures.
