
Assam: Kamtapur Liberation Organisation-Kochan Nationalist (KLO-KN) Expels Key Member for Anti-Group Activities
Guwahati, 4th July: The proscribed outfit Kamtapur Liberation Organisation-Kochan Nationalist (KLO-KN) has expelled a key member, Bijit Narayan Koch, alias Narayan Barman, for his involvement in anti-group activities.
Narayan Barman, also known as Vikram Koch and Bijit Narayan Koch, the son of Madhav Barman from Taquamari village in Bongaigaon district, was expelled after a meeting convened by the outfit. The decision was made on June 29 and was based on allegations that Barman had engaged in actions deemed detrimental to the group’s interests, particularly in collaboration with a senior officer from the Special Task Force (STF) of the West Bengal Police.
The council’s deliberations concluded with a unanimous decision to expel Bijit Narayan Koch from the KLO-KN. The outfit released a press statement announcing his expulsion with immediate effect.
