Assam: Man injured in leopard attack in Charaideo

Guwahati: Man-animal conflicts are one of the most crucial issues in Assam and almost every day one such case is reported.

In a sensational incident, a man was attacked by a leopard along the Assam-Nagaland border in upper Charaideo district of Assam on Friday.

The incident took place at Nafuk tea garden on the outskirts of Sonari town in the bordering district.

The person has been identified as Raghu Nayak, a worker of a tea garden.

As per the sources of MyNewsNE, Nayak was severely injured during the attack and somehow survived.

Nayak reportedly received severe injuries on his chest and hair.

It needs to be mentioned that Nayak was immediately rushed to the Charideo District Hospital where he is being treated for his wounds.
