Assam: Massive Fire Ravages ‘Charaideo Dhaba’ Near Duliajan

Guwahati, 24th April: In a devastating turn of events, ‘Charaideo Dhaba,’ situated on the outskirts of the main road connecting Deosal Tiniali in Bordubi near the oil town Duliajan, was engulfed in a fierce fire outbreak during the night hours, resulting in catastrophic damage to the establishment.

The rapidly spreading inferno sparked panic among nearby residents as news of the incident circulated. Prompt response teams were deployed, with four fire tenders each from Oil India Limited and Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) rushing to the scene.

Despite the courageous efforts of firefighters, who battled the blaze for two hours, ‘Charaideo Dhaba’ sustained extensive damage, resulting in the loss of property worth lakhs of rupees. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the aftermath of the fire.

While the exact cause of the fire remains elusive, authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident and determine the cause of the devastating blaze.

The proprietor of ‘Charaideo Dhaba,’ identified as Nikhil Phukan, faces profound repercussions in the wake of the tragedy, with his livelihood hanging in the balance due to the severe damage inflicted upon the establishment.
