Guwahati: Paid holiday has been allowed by the Assam Government on 30 October for by-election in the state.
The paid holiday allowed for commercial establishments, shops, public entertainment sectors, and all factories.
According to an official notification, Gossaigaon, Bhabanipur Tamulpur, Mariani, and Thowra are the jurisdictions for the above-mentioned statement where the by-election will be held.
It may be mentioned that the counting of votes will be held on 2 November 2021.
