J&K: Civilians injured in grenade attack

Guwahati: At least six civilians were injured in a grenade attack at Sumbal bridge in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, the terrorists attempted to attack security forces with a grenade, but the grenade missed its mark and landed in a passenger vehicle.

The police officials informed that the Terrorists hurled a grenade at the Army convoy at bus stand Sumbal around 10:20 a.m., but it missed the objective and exploded on the roadside.

It may be mentioned that the injured were immediately transferred to SMHS hospital.
