Assam Police announces reward for information on people involved in pilferage of fertilisers
Guwahati: The Assam police on Saturday announced suitable rewards for inputs leading to pilferage of fertilisers with district police or at higher levels.
Police have also announced those providing information would be suitably rewarded and recognised.
Special Director General of Police (DGP) Law and Order GP Singh has made the announcement on his Twitter handle and wrote, “All district SsP and Range Officers of @assampolice have been advised to hold meetings with fertiliser dealers/wholesalers & transporters and take resolute, firm, ruthless action to ensure that fertiliser allotted for Assam farmers isn’t pilfered.”
Anyone having information that is helpful in curbing pilferage of fertiliser May be shared with district police or at higher levels. They would be suitably rewarded & recognised.
