Assam: Restrictions Imposed for Smooth Conduct of Examinations in Morigaon

Guwahati, 12th February: The Morigaon district administration has enforced several restrictions under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to ensure the orderly and peaceful conduct of high school and higher secondary examinations in the district.

Additional District Magistrate Dotibha Bora issued a ban, stipulating that speakers, loudspeakers, microphones, etc., cannot be utilized without prior permission. Specifically, the use of these devices is prohibited at night and during the examination period.

Furthermore, unauthorized assembly or the creation of unnecessary crowds within a 100-meter radius of the examination center is strictly prohibited.

Candidates are reminded that carrying any suspicious items, including mobile phones and electronic devices, into the examination center is strictly forbidden.

These restrictions, effective immediately, will remain in force until the conclusion of the examinations, ensuring a conducive environment for students to undertake their assessments without disruption.
