Guwahati: Assam Police has seized four trucks loaded with suspected illegal fertilizers from Cachar district of Assam on Thursday.
The incident took place in the Damcherra area of the district.
The police officials further raided a godown.
However, the police seized the trucks along with 3750 bags of illegal fertilizers.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Cachar Police wrote, “Four trucks carrying illegal fertilizers are intercepted and following further a godown is raided. Total 3750 bags recovered which were diverted for illegitimate causes. Further linkages are being investigated. @CMOfficeAssam @assampolice @DGPAssamPolice @gpsinghips.”
