Guwahati: A wild elephant was found electrocuted at a tea estate in Kaliabor of Assam on Thursday night.
The incident took place at Burapahar Tea Estate in Kaliabor in Nagaon district of Assam.
According to reports, the wild elephant was electrocuted after coming into contact with an electrical transformer
Reports further claimed that the elephant entered the tea estate’s Number 2 New Bagan region in search of food.
The adult male elephant had reportedly escaped from Kaziranga.
