Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) announced that it will provide special buses for senior citizens and women of the state free of cost.
As per Anand Prakash Tiwari, Managing Director of ASTC, these special buses in Guwahati will be called Pink Buses.
ASTC is expected to start the service in Guwahati in the first phase from January. The roll-out will be done in a phased manner.
