Bangladeshi Nationals arrested in Karimganj
Guwahati: Two suspected Bangladesh nationals has been arrested by police in the Karimganj district of Assam near the Assam-Tripura border from a Guwahati-bound passenger bus.
The accused was identified as Masum Billa and Sheikh Bappi.
According to reports, The Bangladeshi nationals were arrested from a passenger bus registration bearing AS01HC6269.
However, the Bangladeshi nationals entered India from the Gopalganj district of Bangladesh via Akhaura border which is 5 km from Agartala city of Tripura with the help of brokers for Rs 3,000 each.
It may be mentioned that the detainees were taken into police custody.
