Guwahati: In a heartwarming incident, a body of a newborn baby was found on the banks of the River Brahmaputra in Dibrugarh district of Assam on Tuesday.
The body was recovered in Dibrugarh’s Tinkunia area.
Locals spotted the body first then they alerted authorities.
It is suspected that the body had travelled through the river stream and landed at the river banks at Tinkunia.
Meanwhile, local law enforcement arrived at the scene and recovered the body for an autopsy.
