BPF Secretary Prahallad Brahma expelled over uncivilized comments on leaders

Guwahati: Prahallad Brahma, one of the Secretaries of the Youth Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF) has been expelled for his uncivilized comment on dignified leaders of India.

The BPF in its official notification stated that the party strongly condemn the statement made by Prahallad Brahma against most dignified leaders of the country including APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of the country, Atal Bihari Bajpayee, the former Prime Minister and Narendra Modi, the present Prime Minister of the country.

The notification further added that BPF expelled Prahallad Brahma from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect.

It may be mentioned that BPF is a registered political party under the Election Commission of India

After being questioned about making insulting remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and former President Abdul Kalam, Brahma has clarified.

It needs to be mentioned that Prahlad Brahma of the BPF party was caught on camera comparing the aforementioned leaders to ‘Eunuchs’ in a viral video.

The remarks were given at the Parbatjhora Region Committee of the BPF party’s 20th Bodoland Day in the Kokrajhar district of Assam. After the viral video went viral on Twitter, the Assam police took stock of the situation.
