BSF Shoots Down Another Pak Drone Near International Border in Punjab
National Desk, 12 June: Another Pakistani drone was shot down by the Border Security Force (BSF) near the International Border in Amritsar of Punjab. Following a search operation that was started on the outskirts of Shaidpur Kalan village in Amritsar, the BSF personnel were able to find the drone on Monday morning.
According to BSF, a drone that was found entirely broken during the search which was found near Gurudwara of Shaidpur Kalan village at around 7.20 am.
The 3,323 mile India-Pakistan border is to be guarded by the BSF which identified the recovered drone as a “Quadcopter of model DJI Matrice 300 RTK series.”
In a combined search operation with the Punjab Police on the outskirts of Rajoke village in the Tarn-Taran district of Punjab on Sunday, the BSF personnel also discovered a drone at around 6 o’clock in the evening.
The drone was found in a farming field near Rajoke village, entirely damaged with a string attached to transport the payload. According to a formal declaration, the drone that was found also belonged to the DJI Matrice 300 RTK line of quadcopters.
