Guwahati: At least four Border Security Force (BSF) jawans reportedly killed and many others were injured in firing at the BSF mess in Amritsar on Sunday.
The incident took place in Khasa district when a BSF constable allegedly fired inside a BSF mess in Amritsar.
According to reports, the dead bodies of the four jawan were taken to hospital and all the injured jawans have been admitted to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital.
It may be mentioned that the constable fired the bullets has been identified as Katappa.
Legal action has been initiated and further investigation into the case is underway.
