COVID-19: 422 news cases in Meghalaya

Shillong: Even though containment measures are being taken with the utmost strictness, Meghalaya on July 14 reported 422 new COVID-19 cases with three deaths too being recorded.

As per reports, along with the cases being on the rise, 456 patients too recovered. Following this, the total number of active cases in the hill state now stands at 3,925 with the number of recovered patients being 50,794.
Among the total reported cases, West Garo Hills reported the maximum number of cases with 131 new cases while East Khasi Hills reported 121 cases.

Ri Bhoi district recorded 86 cases while there were 18 in East Garo Hills, 16 in West Jaintia Hills, 11 in North Garo Hills, eight in South Garo Hills, eight in South West Garo Hills, six in East Jaintia Hills and five in West Khasi Hills recorded.

Along with this, till July 14, there were 1,06,755 persons reported who have been jabbed with both doses of the vaccine.
