Guwahati: Alpha Omega Christian Mahasangh has filed a complaint against Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of Christians as Kareena had named her book as Pregnancy Bible.
The complaint was filed on Wednesday by the president of the organization at the Shivaji Nagar police station. The FIR was filed against Kareena and two others regarding the book which was named ‘Pregnancy Bible’. The organization objected to the title of the book for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.
The book is authored by Kareena Kapoor and Aditi Shah Bhimjani.
Speaking to the media, Officer in Charge of the Shivaji Nagar Police Station, Inspector Sainath Thombre claimed that the complaint has not been registered yet as the incident took place elsewhere, and further he had advised the complainant to file the report in Mumbai.
It may be mentioned that Kareena had launched her book on July 9 and called the booked her third child.
