Pune based MyLab Discovery Solutions gets approval for India’s first self use rapid testing kit for COVID-19, ‘CoviSelf’.
The ‘CoviSelf’ is likely to be available by end of next week which gets the approval from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for home testing in the country.
The testing kit is priced at Rs.250 and since it a rapid Antigen test, requires Nasal swab. Each kit will be provided with all testing materials, instructions to use leaflet and biohazard bag to safely dispose after testing.
