Delhi: 4 Killed in a Shootout in Court

Guwahati: At least four people including gangster Jitender Gogi were killed in a shootout in Capital Delhi’s Rohini court on Friday.

According to reports, the incident took place when Jitendra was presented before judge in Rohini court. Two shooters dressed as lawyers entered the Rohini court in Delhi and opened fire, murdering Jitender Gogi, the Capital’s one of the most wanted gangster. The police returned fire, killing the two gunmen inside the courtroom.

The reports further claimed that among the deceased there was a lawyer, who shot dead in the incident.

Talking to media, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana said that the two criminals opened fire at gangster (Jitender Mann) ‘Gogi’ when he was taken to the court for a hearing. In retaliation, police shot dead both the attackers.

It may be mentioned that the quick exchange of fire caused chaos and terror inside the court because it occurred during a time when many sessions were in progress and a large number of people were there. Prior to Sandeep Kala, Gogi was the most wanted gangster in Delhi and he was apprehended in March 2020.
