Delhi Police detains Priyanka Gandhi and various Congress leaders
The Delhi Police has detained India Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and various leaders on December 24 for violating Section 144 imposed around Rashtrapati Bhawan. The Congress leaders where moving towards the Rashtrapati Bhawan to submit a memorandum to President Ram Nath Kovind regarding the new farm reforms.
The Congress Contingent have been taken to Mandir Marg Police Station in New Delhi. Priyanka Gandhi during her arrest said “Any dissent against this government is classified as having elements of terror. We are undertaking this march to voice our support for the farmers.”
