Famous Lingdum Monastery to be closed to all the visitors till 1st December

The famous Lingdum Monastery of Sikkim will be closed for visitors till 1st December due to the ongoing COVID Pandemic. However the Sikkim Government has decided to open all its tourist destinations despite rise in Coronavirus cases.

Although many local bodies have closed their doors for tourist due rise in COVID cases in the state and now the Lingdum Monastery authorities have banned tourist entry in their site until 1st December. According to authorities, to prevent elder and young monks from COVID the monastery will be closed to all visitors both local and foreigner till 1st December.
