An Afghan Journalist and her driver were shot dead by some unidentified men in Jalalabad of Afghanistan on Thursday. Malala Maiwand was TV news anchor and talk show host of Enikaas TV. According to Afghan security forces Malala Maiwand was on her way to work when she was attacked by the unidentified men.
Head of Enikaas TV have confirmed her death, however the Taliban has denied the attack on the Journalist. According reports as many as 10 Afghan Journalists have been killed in the country in 2020.
