Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in the Ganesh Nagar area of Bamunimaidan in Guwahati on Monday night.
According to reports, the incident took place by the spreading of fire from earthen lamps that were lit in a nearby temple.
Reportedly, Robin Chowdhury’s home was completely destroyed in the fire incident. Property worth thousands of rupees was also destroyed in the incident.
The fire was extinguished by three fire brigade vehicles. Locals and firetenders managed to calm things down after the incident.
However, no fatalities have been reported till now.
