Guwahati, 24th February: In a devastating incident, two business establishments in Guwahati’s Noonmati area were reduced to ashes as a massive fire broke out on Saturday morning.
Reports indicate that the blaze originated at a shop near the Lord Shiva Temple in the vicinity, suspected to have been caused by a short circuit.
The inferno immediately engulfed nearby businesses, causing extensive damage to properties worth lakhs of rupees.
Sources informed that the fire spread rapidly, leaving destruction in its wake.
In response to the emergency, three fire tenders rushed to the scene and worked tirelessly to extinguish the unprecedented fire.
Despite the challenging circumstances, the firefighting efforts eventually succeeded in bringing the situation under control.
