Guwahati: A person died on the spot in a road accident in Guwahati’s Zoo Road area.
The person identified as Dwijen Baishya and was an employee of Apollo Hospital.
A water tank vehicle hit him in front of the City Center shopping mall resulting the death of Baishya on the spot.
The water tank vehicle is registered with the number AS 01 AA 1251
It has been further reported that Baishya was a resident of Nalbari and he was residing in Guwahati in a rent house.
It may be mentioned that locals claimed that the driver of the water tank vehicle was drunk because of which he lost the control over the vehicle that the speeding vehicle ran over the person who died.
