Guwahati: Renowned Assamese Actor Gyanendra Pallab Baruah passed away at his residence in Hengrabari area of Guwahati on Thursday morning.
According to reports, Baruah was undergoing treatment for liver ailments for the last couple of months
He was the husband of famous Radio Jockey (RJ) Megha.
Baruah appeared in a number of Assamese films in his acting career.
Moreover, he also played the role of a ‘friend’ in the film ‘Mon Jai’ featuring Assam’s heartthrob Zubeen Garg in the lead.
It needs to be noted that he also starred alongside Zubeen Garg and Navadeep Borgohain in the popular Assamese serial ‘ Anuradha’
