Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs, two suspected drug pedllers has been arrested by the Guwahati Police on Tuesday.
The two peddlers identified as 20-year-old Md Shahid Alam and 30-year-old Mrs Beluwa Begum.
According to reports, the duo were arrested on specific inputs.
Reportedly, they were arrested from Boragaon under Garchuk police station of the city.
Meanwhile, police officials recovered one soap size packet of suspected narcotics and 25 vials of suspected heroin from their possession.
Moreover, the officials also seized a Pulsar bike with registration numbers AS 25 E 5345 and a mobile phone from the duo.
It may be mentioned that an legal proceedings have been initiated and further investigation is underway.
