HM Amit Shah to arrive in Assam at LGBI

Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be arriving on a three-day visit to Assam.

Shah will reached at around 10 pm today at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI) airport.

He will be received by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, following which the union home minister will be heading towards the Koinadhora Guest House.

The Home Minister will chair a meeting with BSF officials on the first day and later he will inaugurate the Super Speciality Unit of the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital.

On May 10, Shah will present the President’s Colour Award to the Assam Police on behalf of President Ram Nath Kovind.

Later, he will be the chief guest at a public ceremony commemorating the Himanta Biswa Sarma Ministry’s first anniversary.
