HSLC Exams Begins From Today In Assam

Guwahati: Exams for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) which has start on Friday will draw a total of 4,23,000 students from Assam.

The Board of Secondary Education(SEBA) Assam administers the HSLC exams in Assam each year which are equal to the CBSE 10th standard board exams.

However, the HSLC 2023 exams will be administered in accordance with the National Education Policy’s criteria (NEP). Due to this, SEBA has modified four key courses for the HSLC tests starting today.

The HSLC test has changed this year in the fields of mathematics, general science, English and social science, according to information received from SEBA.

The HSLC exam will now include two answer sheets for these four subjects in conformity with the new NEP regulations. Eight pages of objective questions will make up the first answer sheet while sixteen pages of descriptive questions will make up the second answer sheet.

According to the schedule, the HSLC tests for this year will start today and end on March 20. There will be 912 exam centres where the tests are administered.

The HSLC 2023 practical examinations on February 24 and 25 were already finished last month.

Furthermore, it is anticipated that within two months after the exam’s conclusion the results of the HSLC tests would be released.
