IndiGo Airline Begins Mumbai-Mangaluru Flight Operations
Guwahati: IndiGo, a private airline, began service in the Mumbai-Mangaluru-Mumbai route on Sunday.
The daily flight from Mumbai to Mangaluru departs at 8:50 am and arrives at 10:20 am. After that, the flight departs Mangaluru at 11 am and arrives in Mumbai at 12:40 pm.
According to an IndiGo press statement, the new route will be operated by an Airbus A320.
The flight’s testing operations began on Friday, according to official authorities.
In the first operation of the regular flight today, 55 passengers arrived at Mangaluru while 143 passengers, including an infant, flew out of Mangaluru.
IndiGo, with a 53.5 percent domestic market share as of October 2021, is India’s largest airline in terms of passengers carried and fleet size.
