Guwahati, 2 July: Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar will visit Assam on July 4.
During his visit to Assam, the Vice President will attend the 25th Convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, the Vice President’s Secretariat announced on Sunday. He will interact with IIT Guwahati students as well.
Upon his arrival in Guwahati, Dhankhar would also pay a visit to the Kamakhya Temple and offer prayers.
The QS World University Rankings 2024 list of top 25% universities in the world includes IIT Guwahati. The top institute is currently ranked 364 in the world and 7 in India in terms of total rankings. The Institute has moved up 20 positions globally and 1st position in India as a result.
