Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki Meets Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio
Guwahati: Japan’s ambassador to India Hiroshi Suzuki met Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio on Tuesday in an effort to strengthen ties between the two nations by fostering more intercultural interactions.
The two presidents confirmed their shared desire to improve relations through a number of initiatives combining cultural and economic exchanges and they voiced an increase in the number of visitors visiting this area in the near future.
“We also enjoyed the Nagaland’s cultural programme. I never imagined that I could enjoy an amazing singing performance in Japanese in Nagaland,” said Hiroshi Suzuki while speaking to the media about his experience of visiting the northeastern state.
The ambassador to India Hiroshi Suzuki also paid a visit to C-Edge College in Dimapur, Nagaland where technical interns are trained in Japanese in conjunction with ARMS, the organisation that is sending them.
“I hope many students will work in Japan and acquire skills,” Suzuki further added.
