Missing ULFA-I Cadre Found Buried
Guwahati: A buried body of missing member of the United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) Palash Moran was discovered close to the border between India and Myanmar on Tuesday.
According to reports, the ULFA-I cadre who fled the outlawed terrorist group went missing last Friday and his body was discovered today buried in a trench in Khonsa close to the border.
In the year 2021, Palash Moran a resident of Tarani village in the Tinsukia district of Assam joined the outlawed group.
Moran fled the organisation along with three other people who turned themselves in to the security forces but he vanished before he could do so.
Along with Palash Moran, three further ULFA-I cadres who had previously escaped the designated camp and turned themselves in to the security forces were identified as Montu Moran, Mahanta Baruah and Himagshu Bhuyan.
It was Montu Moran who had informed Palash’s brother of his sudden disappearance after escaping the camp.
