J&K Twin Blasts: NIA Arrives to Conduct Investigations

Digital Desk: As many as nine persons were hurt in two blasts that happened in Narwal early on Saturday morning.

Government Medical College and Hospital Authorities said, “Nine people have been injured and all of them are being monitored and needed medical interventions are being done.”

On Sunday, a team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrived at the scene in Jammu to look into the two explosions that occurred in the Narwal industrial area and injured nine people.

According to ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh, the entire area was roped off, and the injured were sent to a local hospital right away.

On Friday, there was a reported explosion at the home of Choudhary Mohammad Akram, a former Surankote MLA, in the Poonch region of Jammu and Kashmir.

He claimed that the incident happened on Friday night and that his family narrowly escaped because splinters had pierced the roof of numerous of his home’s rooms in the village of Lassana.

At the scene of the incident, empty cartridges from a 12-bore rifle were discovered.
