JP Nadda To Arrive in Nagaland Today For a Two-Day Visit

Guwahati: National president of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) JP Nadda is slated to visit  Nagaland on February 22 (Wednesday) to support the party’s candidates in the upcoming assembly elections.

JP Nadda will visit the election-bound state for two days.

Notably, with the Nagaland assembly election set for February 27, alliance partners Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and the BJP have issued a joint statement urging Nagaland voters to support candidates running on the NDPP and BJP platforms.

The chief minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio and a leader of the NDPP said that the alliance between the NDPP and the BJP which will share seats 40:20, will win the upcoming election.

JP Nadda published the party’s election platform for the forthcoming assembly elections on February 14. The BJP includes a thorough development plan for the state’s overall holistic growth in its election manifesto and describes how to maintain growth, prosperity and peace in the state.

A 60-member Nagaland Assembly election is slated to take place on February 27. The results will be announced on March 2.
